The Story About The Highest Tumpeng in the World
The tallest tumpeng is 2.28 m (7 ft 5 in) tall and was prepared by Artha Graha Peduli (Restaurant Desa & The Bogor Cafe), at the World EXPO 2015, in Milan, Italy, on 17 August 2015.
The Tumpeng made for Expo Milano 2015 obtained two records simultaneously, certified by the Guinness World Records: the highest Tumpeng in the world and the biggest one ever made abroad.
Tumpeng is a dish of turmeric-flavored rice, bright yellow and shaped into a cone or column, served with other traditional Indonesian dishes. The record was organized in celebration of the the Indonesian Independence Day, August 17.
